The Seita Hotel is where you will find all the most important services of the Seita Holiday Resort, including the reception, the information desk and the restaurants. Catch up with friends in the lobby bar or while basking in the glow of the restaurant fireplace, or steam away the kilometres in the sauna and accompanying pool area. The rooms at the Seita Hotel are cosy and welcoming. A bit like staying in an idyllic cabin with all the comforts of today.
We try to develop our hotel to become more environmental friendly. We recycle bio waste, paper, metal, glass and we are also aiming to get rid of disposable dishes. Did you know that we have composters in our yard? We ask our customers to use their towels for several days during their stay in our hotel for us to spare valuable and clean potable tap water. Pure nature, water and air are things we want to enjoy for many years to come.

Handicapped Accessible
While many of our guests may only need a dainty boardwalk trail through the fells, others require special devices to assist them in their daily tasks. We at the Seita Hotel think that everyone - regardless of their level of mobility - should be able to enjoy a complete holiday with us.
Freedom of movement indoors...
Our reception has a service desk for customers in wheelchairs. Eight of our rooms are suitable for the disabled but we recommend that you have an assistant with you. There is a wheelchair lift to the downstairs sauna and meeting facilities and one side of our sauna benches has been installed lower to the floor. The hotel reception and meeting facilities are equipped with induction loops. The design of the building and the interior design, including the colors, have taken the visually impaired into account. If you need special equipment please inform about them beforehand so we can try to rent them from Common Health center.
...and outdoors
Our extensive yard has an even lawn and wide, sturdy paths and lanes. Some of the nearby exercise and vantage points are also nicely suited for the disabled in the summer time. The stone dust trail leading to the Äkäslompolo bird tower starts from the yard of our hotel. The route continues all the way to the Lake Kesänki shelter, which is an excellent place to take a break. It is recommended that you have an assistant with you. It is really demanding to travel with wheelchair in the winter time because we have a lot of snow everywhere.
Handicapped accessible Ylläs
The Kellokas Visitor Centre on the edge of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park has a logging museum, an information centre, variable exhibitions and movie theater Kino Kellokas. Ask more about the accessible trails from us!
Seita Hotel Rooms - Cosy and Welcoming
The hotel has 26 double rooms, each with its' own sleeping loft, as well as two single rooms and a family room. Hotel's size makes us an excellent destination for bus tour groups, among others. Our hotel will open for groups also in low season. An extra bed can be placed in the sleeping loft of the double rooms. Travel cots, cribs and prams are available for families with children. The rooms have been designed to accommodate people with allergies.

Seita Cabins - Nature at Your Doorstep
Individual 2-4 person cabins are located only a couple of hundred metres away from the hotel, giving them the comfort of solitude while being within easy reach of all the services of the hotel. Cabins are quite similar compared to each other, but they are individually named in Finnish.
When staying longer than 3 nights prices include bed linen, towels, fire wood and cleaning after stay. Breakfast is included during the high season. In the winter time we have well-equipped warm ski storage and a place for kids to tobogganing. The little hill is also suitable to watch and photograph the Northern lights.

Affordable Accommodation in Guesthouse
Guesthouse Sivakka offers traditional and old-fashioned accommodation where all business of Holiday Resort Seita once began. Guesthouse Sivakka was built in the 1960's when spacious accommodation and proper sound proofing were relatively unknown concepts. The joys and sorrows of life were shared by all. Times have changed, and so have the expectations on holiday resorts, but old traditions still hold their value. Guesthouse is an affordable option for those who travel alone and they might even get new friends from Sivakka. Today the Sivakka has been updated to meet modern standards. The guesthouse offers accommodation at an affordable price and the same services as elsewhere in the Holiday Resort Seita. Sivakka is about 100 meters away from the hotel reception and restaurants. Sivakka is ideal for big families or friends and the living room can also be used as a meeting room.
